REVO Insurance launches Specialty MarineXYacht, the insurance designed for people who live for the sea

REVO Insurance, the only Italian operator focusing on the business of specialty lines and parametric risks for SMEs, extends its insurance offer to the Marine world with the new Specialty MarineXYacht cover. The policy is designed to protect the vessel, whether sail or motor powered, from damage incurred while sailing, mooring or in storage.

The product, which can be tailored to the characteristics of the vessel, covers material and direct damage caused, for example, by fire, explosion, weather events or vandalism, as well as damage during towing and launching. Italian-flagged vessels are also entitled to access the sea rescue service, with a 24-hour operations centre ready to intervene in event of emergency and/or breakdown, and to provide general assistance. Options also include support in finding and booking a berth.

Specialty MarineXYacht is a multi-currency product: the values of insured sums, indemnity limits and deductibles can be indicated in Euro, US dollar or UK sterling according to the policyholder's specific requirements. In order to assess the risk and conclude the contract, all that is required is to enter the name of the shipyard, the model, and the age of the vessel. Using data held by REVO and with the support of its OverX proprietary technology, a policy proposal can be provided immediately – an advantage in terms of time and transparency for the broker as well as the final client.
