REVO was created in 2021, but our story began many years earlier.
We come from industries where technology and innovation are central to everything. We have worked at Europe’s biggest and most important insurers. But there came a point when this was no longer enough. It was time to change the rules of the game and we joined forces to do it together.

This is just the beginning
Not much time has passed since January 2021, but so much has already been done.
REVO was promoted by Alberto Minali, Claudio Costamagna, Stefano Semolini, Simone Lazzaro, Fabio De Ferrari and Jacopo Tanaglia with the aim of creating a major insurance operator in the field of specialty lines and parametric risks dedicated mainly to the SME world.
In less than a year, we started raising capital, acquired Elba Assicurazioni, Italy’s leading surety and guarantees insurer, and we were listed.
The acquisition of Elba was the starting point for developing other lines of business and expanding our offering to Italian SMEs, which are still under-insured, even though they are the driving force behind the Italian economy. From there, we focused on specialty lines and parametric policies, as this had not yet been done in Italy.
In March 2022, we obtained authorisations from IVASS to extend our operations to almost all the non-life classes, thereby expanding our offer from surety to all other special risks. Today, having completed a merger, we are also listed on the Euronext STAR Milan regulated market.
